The difference between Militant Islamists and Abortionists.

As a rule, Militant Islamists only murder those who are able to defend themselves. (I say "as a rule," for sometimes they seem inclined break this rule.)

Abortionists, on the other hand, not only condone but actually do murder defenseless children.

For both evils, there is only one answer:

"It's wrong to take a life. It's sin. (That's the bad part.) But Jesus gave his life up willingly to make way for forgiveness for those of us who have taken lives. (That's the good part!)" (Link)

Abortion/Blogs for Choice: Because it shouldn't last for just one day.

I know, I know. The anniversary of Roe-vs-Wade is gone.

"On January 22nd - the 34th anniversary of Roe v. Wade – NARAL Pro-Choice America is asking pro-choice bloggers to raise the profile of reproductive rights issues in the blogosphere and the media, and to let everyone know that a woman's right to choose is nonnegotiable."(Citation Link

But heck, most of those who participated in Blog for Choice Day - January 22, 2007 were just so excited about murdering children that I couldn't help posting some more pics. I mean, seriously, it's only a blob of tissue; right? The fetus I mean. But what is a fetus?

""Fetus: the unborn young of a viviparous vertebrae…" (The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language, Third Edition. Copyright 1992) "Viviparous: giving birth to living offspring that develop within the mother's body." (ibid.)" (Found here, in the comments. But let me quote a little more:) Now you stated that "When you abort an embryo, you are eliminating a group of cells that cannot do any of these things. Not a baby, not even a fetus, but something that might turn into a fetus and, eventually, a person…" It is scientifically incorrect to pretend that a fetus is anything but, by definition, unborn. It is inaccurate to describe the fetus as a "group of cells." It is inaccurate to pretend that an embryo, which is an "organism in the early stages of development, especially before it has reached a distinctly recognizable form (ibid.)," is a group of cells. ("Organism: an individual form of life…" ibid.) But finally, while it is scientifically inaccurate to state that a fetus is not a fetus, but is "something that might turn into a fetus," it is false to say that a fetus may "eventually" become a person. It is like saying, "if you fall from an airplane, you might die." For your statement implies a strong possibility that the fetus will not become a person. Scientifically speaking, that implication is absurd." (Same link as above.)

Which is, of course, quite true. Anyways, in honor--or is it horror?--of the anniversary of Roe--vs--Wade, here's something to think about. (Pictures from here.)

Yep. Just a blob of tissue.

baby2.jpg

Shoooot, that ain't no baby!

BTW, abortion isn't wrong because it's murder; even though it is murder. Abortion is wrong for the same reason murder is wrong: Abortion destroys a being who was made in the image of God.

Oops, sorry. Just one more about Abortion.

Isn't this just sick? Perversely ironic, if you prefer.

That's enough for tonight. Besides, it's not like I'm posting the same title over and over and over again, like some people.

You know who I'm talking about.

47,282,923 redux, deux.

"Why am I pro-choice? It's a simple thing." I simply disagree that having sex causes babies; or that having sex is a choice for that matter. "I would like to see the number of abortions performed in this country decrease", but I know this utopia of mine is impossible until we call abortion what it really is: murder; but hey, that's just me. Some goobs think that the "(proven) best way to do that is with education, birth control, and supporting every citizen with access to health care. Other people are weighing in, here, here, and in a gagillion other places. Check it out and give it some thought...real, investigave thought." Actual Quote

...couldn't of said it any better:

CHART and Gov. Bredesen.

Governor Bredesen, along with these and these goobs, want to ban smoking at the blessed Waffle House, among other places.

Maybe he thinks it's unsafe. If that's so, I say we should simply burn down these dangerous restaurants.

Insurance cap in Florida.

Something about this just doesn't seem right.

(I found that while googling for the homeless information.)

2 Homeless men killed in St. Petersburg; tent-city destroyed.

I have seen poverty. Not merely the word poverty; the tangible expression of the idea. I once lived in a country where people who are poor are obliged to live side-by-side with filth; and dirt poor people lived off garbage. To be clear, I am NOT exaggerating. And I write all of that to say this. My heart goes out to people who are berift of food, clothes and ordinary means of subsistence.

That said, I heard a story on the news tonight wherein the "tent-city" of some homeless people was ripped up by the police. The reason: "the auspices of course here was a fire threat that these tents, because people were smoking and possible cooking in them, could catch fire and harm people..." (The actual story I saw was at 5:30 and that reporter seemed to imply that this shredding of tents occurred because "there had recently been a shooting." The St. Pete's Mayor, according to the article here quoted, seemed to authorize this.)

I'm not saying that we should kill the Christians and give their homes to the homeless; that'd be something I'd expect these guys to say. I just fail to see how homeless people are any "safer" for having what little homes they did have, destroyed. That's all.

Why Pulitzer, not to mention RandomHouse, should be ashamed; even though they probably aren't.

All I'm saying is this. After I read this crap, I think I've decided that if Jane Smiley got a Pulitzer, I wouldn't want one. (And trust me, I'm a plumber: I know crap when I see it.)

THESE THINGS I BELIEVE, Part I.

The fun of this blog is that I can post whatever I want. If I am annoyed by some idiot, I can say so. If there is a political issue that I want to address, I can. If some frivolity suddenly strikes me, with this blog I have the liberty to express myself on a world-wide platform. Of course I realize that on this platform, I am situated somewhere behind the curtain, and just underneath the trap-door. But this doesn’t always bother me. I really do enjoy attempting to communicate with my fellow human beings. And in keeping with that attempt, the next few posts which I shall make will pertain to things that I believe.

Keith Ellison and the Qur'an.

Keith Ellison's oath on the Qur'an will be meaningless. Worse. For him, it will be/is false, and a thing contrary to his 'bible.'

"Let not those among you who are endued with grace and amplitude of means resolve by oath against helping their kinsmen, those in want, and those who have left their home in Allah's cause..." (Qur'an, An-Noor vs. 22)

Should those who fight against Americans come in the name of Allah, they are the enemies of America and are the people against whom Keith Ellison must not take an oath; but they are the people from whom he must defend our Country, by virtue of his oath to defend the Constitution.

And besides, how does one go from being reared as a Roman Catholic to becoming a Muslim? I will completely ignore how he said Farrakhan was not an anti-Semite; and how he wants a seperate state for blacks (scroll 1/4 way down); or how he defended a lady who said "Jews are among the most racist white people."

Yeah. Jews are racist.

Gardening Tips from an Expert Gardener.

In gardening, the most important thing one must remember is technique. One may, perhaps, be inclined to the somewhat antiquated notion that tilling the ground is the primary concern. But however many beautiful orations they might deliver upon the topic of tilling, assuredly they would be wrong. I write this essay to destroy the fruit of false notions which have arisen from erroneous opinions. (You may express your heartfelt thanks later.)

"Christian Countries: A Pelican Fairy-tale."

Once upon a time there were three old men who sat around and did nothing but pretend they were smarter than each other. One was a writer who could not write. The other, a sallow faced fellow, was a teacher who could not teach. The third was the smartest of them all, for he was only a rube.
